That is just so true (although I do know of at least one exception). I think this is one reason tracks generally don't attract more than just a core group of diehards, they don't cater to the sensibilities of the greater public. lilmodified Posted August 15, 2009 Report Share Posted August 15, 2009 bobby... i used to live down that way and was at shady oaks almost every saturday until it got so unbearable that i just couldn't go anymore...it was really not worth the 30 minute trip from my house shortly before it closed. i can't tell you the incredible difference jim & laurie have made in the place, and how full the stands are nowadays. if you ever get the chance to go, take advantage of it whether you're racing or just visiting...it's WELL WORTH THE TRIP now!!!
