I searching photos for Roscoe Rann.I think:He was from Dallas,TX(or sometimes described:Memphis,AR) He raced from 1947 Class B V8-60(Fat Brown's car)midgets and sometimes he won.Raced there:Wichita Falls,Dallas,Little Rock,Hot Springs, and Taft Stadium.In August 1947 he had a wrecked.In 1949 San Antonio,TX won as relief with Lee Flowers. Later:In 1951 Indy 500 entered #14 Pat Clancy's Ewing-Offy and raced NASCAR events in 1954 and 1955(Lehi,AR) Sometimes(1951-53) raced in Delta Fairgrounds stock car. Other driver about searching more info(and possible photo): George Armstrong of Dallas,TX.I have only info for him:Entered 1952 Indy 500 R.E. Moore car(The Dallas Morning News think:R.E. I found it after a quick search . The official sheet for the 1951 Indy 500 doesn't even give Roscoe Rann among the non-qualifiers http://www.motorsport.com/stats/champ/data/ch195101.pdf Jerry Hoyt is shown as having tried to qualify the #14 Pat Clancy car at this site .
