NickHolt Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 DRIVER APPRECIATION NIGHT AT GOLDEN TRIANGLE RACEWAY - ALSO, RACE CAR RIDES FOR KIDS By Joy Graham Golden Triangle Raceway Park is hosting a special appreciation night for the drivers who come out week after week and put on excellent shows for the race fans. Each driver was given free passes to give to their fans and co-workers. The passes are good for July 10th only. We hope the stands will be overflowing and the applause and cheers will let drivers know that they are appreciated...win, lose or draw. Special attraction during intermission this week will be the Race Car Rides for Kids. The rides are FREE but in order to participate children must have a 2009 minor release form signed by a parent or guardian. Forms may be printed from the track web site www.motoramaspeedway.com, click on “forms” and print. They will also be available at both ticket booths, but get them early. Forms must be turned in before the intermission. No exceptions! Always a favorite with young race fans is the chance to ride in a race car at Golden Triangle Raceway Park. The race car rides are FREE and will be held during intermission this Friday, July 10. Photo by Joy Graham Golden Triangle Raceway Park is located on W. Hwy. 90 between Beaumont and China, TX. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the fast lane action starts at 7:45. All GTRP classes will be racing. For more information about the Friday night races call 752-7200.
