Practice at I-37 Speedway

Just got back home from I-37 Speedway's practice day.

Had a great group of cars on hand for this, as well as a very good mix of cars.

6 Pure Stocks

8 Super Stocks

5 Limited Late Models

5 IMCA Modifieds

Those were "local" racers.

As well there were about 4 Texas Super Coups, 6 Mini-Sprints, 2 Dwarf Cars, and 1 Texas winged Modified, or Iron Head Modified.

Track was fast, but a bit bumpy. Due to the rain this week, Frank couldn't get the track done the way he would of liked, but he still did a great job on it.

Also, all those there got to see all the great improvements being done to the track. The restrooms are all but done. The new snack bar is functional. The slab has been poured for the new section of grand stands. The material for those grand stands has been delivered, and work on them will commence this week. Also the big pile of junk towards the back of the pits has almost completly been removed.

All in all it was a great day at the track. I can't wait until opening night on April 2nd. If you haven't been there this year, you will be amazed at all the positive changes.

Is it show time yet?
