FORT WORTH-DALLAS (March 17, 2004) – Fire 911, LLP will sponsor the April 2 ROMCO Super Late Model Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. The Fire 911 100 offers fans the initial ROMCO race during the Samsung/RadioShack 500 NASCAR weekend at the speedway. It will be on the same Friday night program as the inaugural Crown Royal International Race of Champions event at the speedway.

The Fire 911 100 will feature the stars of the ROMCO Super Late Model Series, the leading pavement late model racing organization in the Southwest. The 100-mile race will get the green flag at 6 p.m. followed by the Crown Royal IROC Series 100-miler at 8 p.m.

Fire 911 and Fire Specialist, Inc. are divisions of International Management Marketing, Inc. of Farmers Branch, TX. Fire 911 specializes in auto racing fire safety equipment. Fire Specialist, Inc. offers fire safety products for commercial and home use.

“Fire 911 offers auto racing teams the highest quality fire safety equipment on the market today,” said Lu Burch, Fire 911 President. “We are mothers and grandmothers and have been racing fans for many years. Our concern for the safety of race drivers is the reason we founded Fire 911.

“We are happy to join Texas Motor Speedway in presenting the ROMCO Super Late Model Series in the Fire 911 100. It is going to be an exciting event.”

“Fire Specialist, Inc. is committed to educating the public about fire and fire safety,” said Candy Brom, Vice President of Operations. “Children are very important to me. Our goal is to educate adults on fire and fire safety so that they can teach their children and protect them.”

“The Fire 911 100 will carry on the tradition of great racing the ROMCO Super Late Model Series has established at Texas Motor Speedway,” said speedway general manager Eddie Gossage. “The Fire 911 100 will display the talents of the leading short track late model drivers and teams from throughout the Southwest.”

The ROMCO Super Late Model Series has competed at “The Great American Speedway” in 2002 and 2003 in conjunction with the June Bombardier 500k weekend. The series will return again to compete at Texas Motor Speedway June 12. Chris Davidson won the first ROMCO race at Texas with his father Greg visiting victory lane last year.
