Big G Smith Posted May 24, 2009 Report Share Posted May 24, 2009 After being down on power for the May 9th Thunder Hill NasKart Race. Richard Gonzeles drove the #17 Green Machine up to the front of the field to lead quite a few laps until a laped kart driven by Steve Pepper caused the lead pack to seperate when they came upon him in the back strech. The #17 went high and the #5 driven by Lyndon Kirk who was on Richards rear bumper went low and Lyndon ended up taking the lead. After the competition yellow it was the #5 and #17 breaking away from the pack . Richard was able to stay on Lyndons rear bumper although he couldn't make the pass on the last lap and had to settle for 2nd Good race Richard.
