We just got a call and have received some sponsor money for Limited Modifieds this Saturday, courtesy of Mickey's Auto Repair & Wrecker Service, based in Victoria. As many of you know, Mickey Helms is a favorite among the fans as well as his fellow competitors. He has helped many over the years and this weekend, he's helping by adding money to the purse. Here's the scoop: Mickey is sponsoring an extra $50 to be added to 4th place and an extra $50 to be added to 5th place in Limited Modifieds. And..., he's sponsoring $100 which will be drawn for any Limited Modified starting the feature. Each car starting the Limited Modified feature will have their car # placed in a bowl, and one will be drawn while the Limited Mods are entering the track for their feature. Anyone who starts the Limited Modified feature is eligible for the bonus $100. Just have to pull on the track in the feature and get your car # drawn. As the cars are taking their pace laps we will announce it over the PA. Thank you Mickey Helms for your sponsorship, and for what you've done over the years for so many of your fellow racers.
