Lucas takes round 4 at 105 Speedway

A strong field of 28 cars took to the high banked 1/4 mile track in Cleveland Tx Saturday night.By feature time the track gave 2 groves of racing & passing.Jake Lucas,Caleb Martin ans J.J. Simmons took the three heat races.On completion of the third heat. 2nd place points runner J.J Simmons.Relized he had lost his drian plug and hurt the motor.Causing him to have to scratch from the A main.In the finally Jake Lucas picked up his first win and the first win for Suzuki in the 2009 season.Lucas took the lead from his outside front row starting spot and never reliquished the lead.Michael McNeal ran a close second in his Yamaha powered Sawyer.Current ASCS2/EMSA points leader Caleb Martin came home third and extended his points lead.4th place went to ASCS sprint car driver Scottie McDonald.Who fought off 4 cars. To take the #52 cars first top 5 of the season for Laney Motorsports.Sophmore driver Anthony Porter finshed off the top 5 with his career best finish with the series.
