TRP Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 Teen Mini Stock Teams, mark your calendar ahead for your next race on May 16th. The mini's are off on May 9th, but will be back in action on May 16th... And, there will be sponsored money added for every teen mini stock racer that shows and enters for the night ready to race. Every teen mini stock racer that enters to race on May 16th will receive an extra $20 sponsored by Cabin Creek Design, Cindy Chamberlain owner. If your car breaks and you don't make the feature, don't worry. If you show up that night ready to race you're gonna walk away with $20. Normal payout for mini's starting the feature goes down to 10th place, but if there are 12 or 15, or whatever, each teen that shows on May 16th will get an extra $20 from Cabin Creek Design in a separate pay envelope. Everyone gets the same additional amount, whether you are first or you are last. We value our young racers who are our future in this sport and our future leaders in the world. We need to appreciate the youth. They will be deciding on which Nursing Home we reside in later in life.. Thank you Cabin Creek Design for your sponsorship of the mini stocks on May 16th! I think this is the 3rd year that Cindy has done this for the mini's so it's kind of become a tradition at this point. Several different sponsors stepped in last year and increased some purses for different classes. We have a very good group of young racers. Bring a teen to run with this group. They'll have fun. As far as who to watch out for with regard to competition; it could be any one of the drivers on a given night. They are all running pretty close to each other putting on some good shows and when the numbers hit just right, any one of them could grab a feature.
