NickHolt Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Texas Super Racing Series Hires Mayberry The Texas Super Racing Series announced Monday, March 8th, the hiring of veteran race correspondent, Pat Mayberry, to handle media correspondence for the series. Mayberry comes to the Texas Super Racing Series with a strong media background. Mayberry most recently has been writing freelance pieces for several nationally recognized publications. Mayberry also served as Media Liaison for two years with the ROMCO Super Late Model Series and as Director of Marketing for L & J Motorsports for nearly four years. Series founder, Mary Ann Naumann, said, "I am very proud to announce the joining of such a well know wrier/reporter. Pat is just what our series needed to add the icing to the cake. The series is honored to have him represent us with the media, race fans and racers. His enthusiasm with life and racing knowledge will be such an asset to the Texas Super Racing Series." "I am very excited to join the Texas Super Racing Series for the 2004 season and look forward to the challenges of working with a series again," said Mayberry. "The Texas Super Racing Series is more than a terrific series with great camaraderie between the drivers, it also is offering Texas race fans some of the best racing in the state." The Texas Super Racing Series is a two-year old late model touring series that will be making eleven stops in the 2004 racing season between San Antonio Speedway, Houston Motor Speedway, Corpus Christi Speedway and closing the season at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
