'Economic concerns' cancel May ASCS Sprint Car race in Tenn.

Lucas Oil ASCS Event at Bulls Gap Cancelled

 

TULSA, Okla. (April 10, 2009) – Due to economic concerns throughout the region, the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters event scheduled for May 8-9 at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, TN, has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

 

Next up for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Series is Little Rock's I-30 Speedway on Saturday night, April 18, with May events to include Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL, on May 1 and then the Steve King Memorial at the Jetmore (KS) Motorplex on May 23-24.
