There's a report in the story on the same site that says he flipped several times after getting pinched into the wall, but emerged okay and got a standing ovation. His car was blue. There was another car torn up, the red #14 it looks like, but that looked like a modified of some sort and I didn't see anything about the driver. From what I've heard about the original Friday, he was an incredible short track racer over in Tenn, Alabama, Georgia before losing his life at Daytona. I hadn't seen Jr.'s name too much..... speedracer Posted March 5, 2004 Report Share Posted March 5, 2004 I ran the race at Birmingham and got tangled up in the big wreck on lap 3. it was one of the worst wrecks I have seen. racerboy there was a great crowd in the stands. that is a big stands and it was a record number of cars for the early bird race in every class Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
