Apparently that was Ken McFarland. There's a report in the story on the same site that says he flipped several times after getting pinched into the wall, but emerged okay and got a standing ovation. His car was blue.

There was another car torn up, the red #14 it looks like, but that looked like a modified of some sort and I didn't see anything about the driver.

Bubba Naumann looked like he had a pretty good run against that crowd, but I don't know the story.

Did anyone else notice the driver that finished 25th??

 

Friday Hassler, Jr......

 

 

From what I've heard about the original Friday, he was an incredible short track racer over in Tenn, Alabama, Georgia before losing his life at Daytona.

 

I hadn't seen Jr.'s name too much.....
