ChuckLicata Posted March 3, 2004 Report Share Posted March 3, 2004 A FEW VACANCIES LEFT IN MOTORSPORTS LARGEST TEMPORARY CITY FORT WORTH-DALLAS (March 2, 2004) - An estimated 40,000 race fans will temporarily take up residence on Texas Motor Speedway property for the Samsung/RadioShack 500 NASCAR race week April 1-4. Approximately 125 of the 4,700 reserved campsites are still available in the Workhorse Custom Chassis Reserved Camping located near turn three of the superspeedway. The sites are $150 each for the week. A handful of tent camping spaces are also available for race week at $50 and $75 per site. The 1,000-space unreserved campgrounds for the Samsung/RadioShack 500 week located west of the frontstretch grandstands are $50 per space on a first come, first serve basis. There are only 20 spaces left in the Workhorse Custom Chassis VIP Camping. The 352-space paved camping area is located on Labonte Lane and State Highway 114. All spaces have water and electric hookups included in the price of $1,000 for the season. All outside camping - Workhorse Custom Chassis Reserved, VIP Reserved and unreserved camping will open Saturday, March 27 at 8 a.m. Reserved campsites and tickets to for Samsung/RadioShack 500 race week events are available daily at the speedway ticket office, by calling (817) 215-8500 or going online to www.texasmotorspeedway.com <http://www.texasmotorspeedway.com>.
