CC57
Trying to install a Racemate combination water-pump/alternator on my Mod’s 383. The gap between the 2 pulleys is maybe a ¼”. I figure the crank side of the arrangement should (better) have minimal movement off of center. But I’m not too sure about the water-pump side. Do you think I have or will have an issue? And if you’re wondering, the size difference between the pulleys works out to about a 0.93 ratio. So at a crank speed of 8,000 RPM, works out to around 7,400 RPM on the water-pump side. Truck99
Should not be a problem.
ratdaddy
Don't see a problem as long as you keep your finger out of there.
