At the Texas Event Center Parking Lot in Kyle. Bring your Bar-B-Q pits - we'll have a little music & lots of fun! Come vote on the entries for the 2004 Miss Texas Super Racing Series! (deadline for the entries is Friday the 27th). Drivers/Car Owners: Tech will be setup for Pre-Safety Inspection for the 2004 Race Season! Opportunity to consult with Director of Tech and inspections of areas in question (i.e., carburetors, etc.). Texas Super Racing Series Sponsors & Race Cars are invited to setup display, graphics, tires, fuel, parts, etc. EVERYONE welcome to join in on the FUN, invite your family & friends! * This will be weather permitting! Any questions on that day call: 512-899-2602 (TSRS information line) We will be taking Drivers & TSRS Officials/Staff pictures for the program. (sorry the ones taken at the banquet did not do very well with the shinny back ground). Please wear something with color not white. If we have your from last season, we can use it. Reminder: Our first race is scheduled with ROMCO Super Late Models & ARTS Trucks for March 13th @ San Antonio Speedway! Lisa has arranged for a racers hotel discount @ The American Heritage Inn (Old Coachman) Hwy. 37 @ Goliad Rd. Ask for Stan or Norma @ 1-210-337-7171. Racers special is 50.oo per night. UPDATE INFORMATION on the Transponders... As stated Friday: Transponders may be purchased directly from Balton @ AMB. Call 1-877-426-2488, @ ext 313. Our cost, which includes the transponder, bracket, charger, adapter & shipping! 282.50 for 30 days, then they are 329.00. Say that you are with TSRS! You MUST contact Balton directly @ AMB. Updated info: AMB also carries the Trans X-260, which connects directly to the race car battery and the cost is 15.00 less than the one listed above! Talk to Balton about it! Also, there have been some questions as to is this the same transponders used by ROMCO & HMS, the answer is yes! One last and very important request, we would like to ask each of you to please keep Ronny New's wife, Amber in your prayers as she is having some serious health issues. Amber, our prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. If you would print the attached poster and display it @ your shops and or office, we would certainly appreciate it.
