WICHITA FALLS, TX - Red River Speedway, an American Speed Association Member Track, is proud to introduce a new division for its 2009 season. The Lewisville Motorsports Super Trucks (LMST) will become the premier series at Red River Speedway.

The LMST will be an American Speed Association recognized class and the teams competing in this division will be running for the Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil American Speed Association Member Track National Championship. Along with competing for the National Championship, the teams will also be competing for a year end’s point end from its tire supplier.

“We are excited to welcome this division to compete for the Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil ASA Member Track National Championship,” Dennis Huth, ASA President stated. “Personally, I am excited to see another truck division compete. I know for a fact that truck racing is exciting and provides some of the best side-by-side action at any track in the United States. I know the fans at Red River Speedway will enjoy this class.”

Officials with the LMST are excited about the upcoming inaugural season and are looking forward to adding more tracks in the future. The rules are available at www.redriverspeedway.net.

Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil, sponsor of the American Speed Association National Short Track National Championship, is the same oil developed and used by Joe Gibbs Racing. The team sells the oil so racers across the country can have access to the latest technology in racing lubricants.

The American Speed Association Short Track National Championship is another step by the industry leader in creating new and innovative programs. This follows the recent announcement about extending the insurance coverage for ASA members traveling to, from, and during an ASA-sanctioned event.
