It's interesting that only three people have even expressed curiousity about my sponsor search idea. I guess everyone else heard back from DuPont and Budweiser and are good to go... We also have two opportunities per year to "work the press" without having to contend with football. One of those opportunities is the month of February, but we've wasted that one because no one is ready to promote themselves or their sponsors. By the way, did everyone in Central Texas see the blitz the Austin Wranglers put on the media last month? It was a mirror of the blitz the Round Rock Express and the Austin Ice Bats put on when they came into the market. Sarge: That's why short track racing is seen as a "hobby." It isn't the media's fault, it's ours. Lastly, the weatherman lied again. It isn't supposed to be raining today, and Brian and Jim are supposed to be able to work on the track.
