A Couple Legends

Several of the Snowball elite were in attendance. Butch Miller was helping a young racer; Romco Champion Donnie Wilson had Dave Mader III in his pit.

Jody Ridley was helping a Georgia racer, and Freddy Fryar was catching up with old friends.

Got to chat real quick with Ridley, and a lot more a couple different times with Fryar. He is enjoying the quiet of Cassville, Missouri, and still drives racecars for Richard Petty's Driving Experience.

Freddy is trying to find a picture of every racecar he ever drove, which he estimates to be over a hundred.

He and I ask that if anyone has an obscure pic he might like, email it to me here, and I will email it to him.

TxTom, it was good of you to come by to chat with Dan and me. As I did not go into the pits but one time, I did not see Deb. Just hope I am healthy enough to go to the Derby next year. Age is catching up on me. I got to talk to Glenn Smith on his way to spotter duty, but I did not get to talk to Casey or the Davidson's.
