racin4fun Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 I heard there is a 20,000 dollar elctric bill that has to be paid and Saratoga before they will turn the elctric back on also. I sure wish it would open up. Or Shady Oaks would be good too but Saratoga is closer. Oh well. It sure is sad to see race tracks just sitting. The only way I think it will reopen is the new owner has got to buy the track, and not lease, and have deep pockets.
