The future is bright for NasKart/ Room for a few new faces

The NasKart Racing Series will be starting its 5th year in 2009. The word is out that this series is some of the best racing around, no matter what budget or experance level you may have

 

Their are currently three (3) race ready NasKarts that are considered buy and drive Karts. Meaning they are ready to compete. No work nessary. They come with all spare parts and gears and the electronic dash to let the driver know lap times, motor RPM's and head temprature. They are listed below this post on this forum.

 

In addition, for those of you who would like to build your own motors, Their are a few chassis availible / with motors , that are stock. These need to be rebuilt and modified to bring them up to speed.. You can buy one of these chassis for around $1975.00.

 

There will be a lot more of the complete chassis karts with motors availible as soon as the owners of the old Iron Rock Raceway come to the realization that they are never going to open a new track. They are wishful thinking now. They have 20 of the Birel N35 chassis karts with the GX270 motor that they used as rentals. I predict that some time in the next 6 months or so that these karts will be for sale.

 

Currently the NasKarts Group have fourteen (14) active NasKarts and an additional three are four availible that need to be converted. Meaning motors need to be modified.

 

The 2009 season will probably have seventeen active NssKarts.

 

This is serious racing that is fun , affordable, competitive and different from other forms of racing.

The 2009 NasKarts schedule is not yet finalized for 2009 although they will be racing at the following tracks

1. Thunder Hill in Kyle, TX. 3/8 mile paved oval

2. Houston Motor Sports Park, Houston Texas. 3/8 mi. Banked paved oval

3. Red River Raceway, Wicthita Falls, TX. 1/4 mi high banked paved oval

4. Runco, SanAntonio, TX. 7/8 mile Road course.

5. At least 1 other road course will be on the schedule

 

Pit Spaces are availible as well as transportation to races for anyone who needs this service. The NasKarts Racing Series is unique in that it has a 3,000 ft warehouse for members of the group to meet and areas availible to keep karts. They also have the NasKarts trailer that holds up to 8 karts for the guys who pit at the shop and for the longer trips, everyone shares the availible 44 ft enclosed traler of Rock Hard Racing owned by Marty.

 

The NasKarts Group have built a reputation of being an exciting and professional organization, that puts on a great show for the fans. They are the only karting orginization that races on ASA sactioned oval tracks as part of the tracks Saturday night short track program.

 

The majority of the drivers are older. The minimum age is 18 although they would rather have more experanced driver involved.
