RobbinsSr
I have a limited chassis the the upper control arm were swaped left to right and the mounts reset. I want to swap them back now that I'm running ashpalt. Is this easy to do and get them set in the right location or something best left to a chassis builder? NickHolt
On asphalt, the a-arm locations and the effective length of the a-arms are very important. The very important roll-center locations are determined by the location and interaction of the a-arms while camber curves are determined by the effective length of the a-arms. The angles of the upper arm are also important since those angles impact caster change curves and anti- and pro-dive along with a few other less important parameters. We cover this stuff in my Suspension Seminars. If you don't know how all this works together to effect your suspension geometry, I suggest that you have a knowledgable chassis builder handle this for you. NickHolt
Really, there are several in the area who could do the job and do it well. I'll wait for folks who have used them to post their recommendations. Nick
