Lyndon Kirk Buys Smitty Built racing

The purchase of Smitty Built racing by Lyndon Kirk has been finalized. Lyndon bought the company that founded the NasKart Group and has built a reputation of building some of the fastes and most reliable motors in the NasKart Series. The sale included all of the assets of the company including the #20 NasKart and all spare parts and tools.

 

Lyndon will also take over the director position with The NasKarts racing Series from Smitty.

 

I am glad Lyndon wanted to get more involved with Naskart as an owner and driector because he brings a lot of experance to the table. Lyndon has crew chiefed on late model teams and has been active in NasKart Racing from the Time The orginazation was founded by Smitty four years ago. Because of job related issues, Lyndon took a couple of years off from racing and It was good to have him back with the series for the second half of the year.

 

Even though he didn't start racing for Smitty Built until 9 races into the season, he racked up a season best string of 8 wins. Had the Yellow Beast NasKart not been sold out from under him, he would have probably picked up another top 3 finish but he had some new Kart Glitches in the first race of the #20 Orange Crush and came in last. The guys made fun of him until he came back and won the next 4 races in a row.
