Montgomery Motorhead Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 Russell Fleeman has unofficially won the 2008 World Crown 200 at Peach State Speedway on Sunday November 9th. According to Speed51 Ricky Brooks was doing the teching for this race and after the race Brooks had the motor taken out of Fleeman's car and confiscated it. It is supposed to be analyzed Monday morning to make sure it is legal.............Being that Ricky Brooks was doing the teching for the race this does not surprise me at all. txtom Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 More of the story from Peach State concerning tech: Grant Enfinger and Justin Wakefield were disqualified from the Late Model starting field. Every single competitor brought into the tech shed in both the Sportsman and Supertruck divisions were tossed out due to various rule infractions. In the Supertrucks, after the top three were DQ'ed, the fourth, fifth and sixth-place drivers were kicked out as well. Also, several Open Wheel drivers sent home without money after failing tech. After a while, some drivers flat-out refused to take their cars to tech after their respective races. Ricky Brooks came to this race and showed them how to tech.
