Another new track for NASKARTS to race at

Recommended Posts

This was an email that Robert Yuras sent me today...from North Texas Kartway. He had been contacted by them and negotiated race fees for us.....let me know if this interest anyone for the 2009 season!

> Hi Robert,

> We had our NTK club meeting tonight.

>

> I put your proposal to the club members & they voted unanimously to

> allow NasKarts to race at any of our club events for the entry fee of

> $31 plus $9 driver pass if the NasKart class has 10 or more entries. If

> there are less than 10 entries the entry fee will be the normal non

> member rate of $40 plus $9 pit pass.

>

> The membership also wanted me to extend an invitation for any of your

> receive a key to the gate so they are welcome to use the track at any

> time & everyday if they want to. Members can also pay $75 to turn the

> lights on & practice at night. Many members get together & split the

> cost of lights.

>

> All spectators on the premises on race day are required to purchase a

> spectator pass for insurance reasons. Spectator passes are $8 for all ages.

>

> If any of your group is in the DFW area we would love to invite you to

> the track on a race day & give you a tour of the facilities. Just let me

> know in advance so I can arrange it.

> software. All karts will be required to have transponders on their

> karts. Transponders are available for rent on race day for $10.

By the way Beaner, you're not going to get very far talking on HERE to her.

She called me (from the website) and we talked for about an hour. The track is a 1/2 mile sprint style track. The drive is about 225 miles from austin. As she stated in the email to me, if ya'll take more than 10 karts, you can have a 10 dollar discount (I negotiated with her, thank me later). The Entry fee would be $30 instead of $40. They can get ya'll Hotel discounts. Just call her for scheduling. Here is the track:

We have already been in contact with her. She called me a couple of months ago and invited us to race with them.

We will consider this track as we get closer to setting up our 2009 schedule.

Please just remember the track. When I talked with her, she said she was unable to get a hold of anyone else, untill I answered. So after having an exciting conversation with her, for the sake of racing, I was excited to bring this news to Mike. I will let her know the responsibility now lays in ya'lls hands.

Thanks.

Robert

It was a lady named Yaani-Mai Gaddy that called and said she was with North Texas Kartway in Denton, Tx

We talked for a while and then she followed up with an email, yaanimail@verison.net on 9-5-08.

Roy will follow up with them if he decides to add them to the 2009 schedule.
