TRP Posted September 2, 2008 Report Share Posted September 2, 2008 Right on the heels of a fantastic show on 8/30, the Texana Raceway Park crew sets their sights on preparing for September 6th. If you're interested in seeing lots of different classes and special events on top of that, this is your night! We will have all classes racing, plus kids go-kart races at intermission and a demo derby after all of the feature events. Modifieds will be running for $1,000 to win and an extra $35 for each feature starter from 2nd - thru 24th. Therefore, it will pay a minimum of $85 to start. Start the feature and you made your entry fee plus a little bonus. Limiteds will be running for $800 to win and an extra $35 for each feature starter from 2nd - thru 24th. Minimum of $75 paid to start.... The father & son Hot Stock Truck drivers (Russell #55 and Jason Bloom #84) will be the featured drivers in the general admission area before the races crank up. The Super Stocks points championship will be determined on this night as it will be the last night for the group to run in 2008. So, mark your calenders for this Saturday, September 6th. Monty, Is it set at an addtional $35 per position, or will the monies be divided equitably between 2nd and the # of cars that start the feature - in case 24 don't show up? The other positions will have $35 added. So, $35 extra for 2nd - 20th if 20 start...... $35 extra for 2nd - 24th if 24 start. Little different than before, but by request of the sponsor. Same approach in Limiteds, 1st has $200 added making that $800 to win and then $35 extra for every position after 1st, regarless of how many start. The bumps in purse will be for this week (Sept. 6th and again on Sept. 27th) are the pit passes going to be 30$ again? Back to $20 this week.
