hubb44
Neal Flanagan of Corpus Christi took the first 2003 regular season open wheel modified feature at Saratoga Speedway Saturday night, leading the 20 laps from wire to wire with no serious challenge after the first lap. Joey Heinaman took the pure stock feature. James Myers won the hobby stock feature and Ronnie Fikes of San Antonio was the unofficial winner of the South Texas Dwarf Car event. The weather cooperated all night until open wheel feature time when a medium fogg sat in. There will be an open practice at the speedway from noon till sundown this Saturday March 15th with the next season race set for March 22 which will feature an added class of limited latemodels for the first time in nearly four years. There is no increase in admission and those interested can still bring their cooler of alcoholic beverages. More detaila will be added later.
