bkuempel Posted July 18, 2008 Report Share Posted July 18, 2008 This weekend Ironrock is hosting the Southwest Regional Cup. To enter our karts in this race it will set us back around $100.00! It is my understanding that there isn't even a cash payout to inject back into our Year-end purse. Accurately so, our Series is promoted as being "affordable". I think, as a group, we should reconsider having these events on our schedule. I would have cried foul about this weekend's race sooner if I had realized the entry was so high. I assumed the entry fee would be that of a club race. I understand paying extra when visiting an out-of-town track, but not our home track. The Austin Grand Prix is Aug 16th.
