NickHolt Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Chuck Licata has informed Thunder Hill Raceway owner Brian Callaway that he will not be back this season as the THR track announcer. In a recent email to Callaway, Licata said: "Because of all that I have going on in the racing world and with the radio show, I am letting you know that I am resigning my position as the track announcer at Thunder Hill Raceway. This is a difficult decision for me, because you know how much I love being out with the race fans at Thunder Hill Raceway on Saturday nights during the racing season. However, I will see you and the great THR staff when the Texas Super Racing Series is at Thunder Hill, as I'm the TSRS announcer, and I look forward to that! Thank you for the opportunity to come back to THR last year, and I wish you the best for the 2003 racing season. " Nick Holt Quote
