STREET02
Let me clarify the "TECHNICAL INFRACTION" DQ for the #02 Super Stock My Drivers side plastic skirting was had a low spot behind the Lf wheel. 1/4 inch too low. The contact with the 99 bent the aluminum the plastic is connected to. Understand the way the rules read , but for the record my frame height is 5 3/8 at lowest point. NickHolt
Anybody who knows Doug knows that he plays by the rules. It's just a shame this turned out the way it did. Nick
Pacecar
The 99 car might be another loser in this DQ. The ASA points system uses car count as a significant factor in the national championship index calculation. The cars listed as finishing 10th, 11th, and 12th didn't receive any race points.....therefore, the 99 car was credited as racing against 8 competitors. direct-flo
What does "DRIVER DISCREPANCY" exactly mean?
NickHolt
Since this involved the Krauss family, I'm pretty sure it's not a mental health issue... LOL I'd assume that Mel Krauss may have driven the car in the heat race without making the proper notification to race officials. Levi
There was a conflict with the sheet my dad had signed when we got to the track. Jack came over to our pit after the heat race and asked us about it. My dad told him that he signed the sheet that they gave him at the gate and he wrote Pit Crew next to his name, Jack went back, and checked the sign in sheet i guess, he came back later and told us everything was clear, just my dad had to go talk to Kathy himself about it. Guess i did loose my second place in the heat...
FitchRacer07
It was a great night of racing all the way around. Keep it up guys. Some bad luck for a couple of the Grand Stock drivers with the wreck, really sorry to see that. Floyd & Cody, let us know if you need anything. The 07 didn't run so great but I think it was a great night. As always, can't wait til the next race.
