NeilTPS Posted January 5, 2004 Report Share Posted January 5, 2004 Bucky Hutchison named TPS Chief Inspector San Antonio, Texas The Texas Pro Sedans Series has announced the selection of Bucky Hutchison of Austin as its new Chief Technical Inspector. Hutchison replaces former TPS Tech Chief Nick Holt, who recently accepted the position of Competition Director at Thunder Hill Raceway. Bucky Hutchison was the four time winner of the Texas Pro Sedan Driver Championship in 1985, 1999, 2000 and 2001. He brings 23 years of oval racing technical knowledge and racing experience as a car owner and driver to the San Antonio based 4-cylinder stock car series. In 2004, the Texas Pro Sedans will initiate their twenty-ninth consecutive year of racing in the southwest making TPS is the oldest auto racing series in Texas. TPS is scheduled to race in 2004 at the following Texas oval race tracks: Race Date Track April 10 Thunder Hill Raceway April 24 San Antonio Speedway May 8 Thunder Hill Raceway May 29 Corpus Christi Speedway June 5 San Antonio Speedway June 19 Thunder Hill Raceway June 26 San Antonio Speedway July 17 Thunder Hill Raceway July 31 Corpus Christi Speedway August 7 or 21 Thunder Hill Raceway September 4 Corpus Christi Speedway September 25 Thunder Hill Raceway - 8th annual “Stock Car Spectacular” October 16 San Antonio Speedway - 9th annual “Octoberfast” Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
