lenny66
Just came across this item of interest on the NA$CAR web site. I did not know this about Cup Racing. Under Sunoco's deal with NASCAR, teams are provided free fuel at any sanctioned test, practice or race for all three top divisions. A company spokeswoman said it's impossible to determine just how much fuel is used per weekend because of fluctuations in schedules, weather and the teams' practice times each week. Free Fuel!!! What a deal. Lenny66
gundogC3
Yep, Bradley came by here yesterday. I asked if they had to pay for fuel while talking about how much our's cost today. He told me nope. Gotta love it!
firemdk
Why don't we try and get Torco or Sunoco or VIP to sponsor the Pro Classes at HMP? That would be good Grassroots sponsorships for them and I bet cost alot less.

marc200mph
Yep, when we ran NASCAR after the race they always filled the cars up and did post race tech with a full tank. When we got back to the shop we would drain the fuel out and use it in the mower, generator, weedeater, go-carts, etc... You always had to return with an empty fuel cell at the next race so NASCAR could check the date on the bladder. PS: Once you had you Cup Licence/ID card, you never paid into the track and you have so many of family/friends you can put on the get in free list.
