The veteran NASCAR driver hails from Vancouver, Washington. He currently is ranked third in NASCAR Sprint Cup championship points following the March 30th race at Martinsville, Virginia. In making the official announcement, Red River Speedway track manager Mike Cooper, said “Greg Biffle will travel from Ft. Worth to Wichita Falls, Texas where he will be engaged in a NASCAR Sprint Cup race on Sunday, April 6 at Texas Motor Speedway”. “We at are proud to welcome a NASCAR star such as Greg Biffle to participate in our race program on April 5th”. Scheduled to drive RRS four cylinder cars and also being featured on the April 5th race schedule will be several members on Greg Biffle’s NASCAR pit crew. They will drive the following car numbers. Will Smith - Car Chief – RRS Car #33 Collin Pasi - Front Tire Carrier – RRS car #55 Glen Waldron - Setup / Mechanic – RRS car #0 Brian Bottlemy - Front Tire Changer – RRS car #57 Bobby Bakeeff - Floor Sweeper – RRS car #22 Billy Manchester – Gasman and Shock Specialist – RRS car #85 Joe Smith - Tire Specialist and Wiring Mechanic – RRS car #50 RRS will initiate their second 2008 season race at the newly refurbished ¼ mile asphalt track which reopened last Saturday to a good crowd in Red River Speedway’s large grandstand. On April 5th, a full program with all three RRS class races will also highlight the races at Red River Speedway. Red River Speedway is located off Highway 287, turn right on FM 369, proceed one mile. Spectator gates will open at 6:00pm. Races will begin at 8:00pm.
