debwill Posted December 9, 2003 Report Share Posted December 9, 2003 Oval Components, a San Antonio chassis builder and race parts shop, recently traveled to Indianapolis, IN to attend the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show this past weekend. Approximately 40 to 50 teams signed up to be the fastest “two-tire stop and gas” pit crew at the end of the first day reception. Team Oval Components, including Brandon Bendele, Kevin Bendele, Bobby Black, Ervin Breiten and Gator Dodson, were one of the first teams to take the challenge and post a fast time of 13.71 seconds. This time would hold through the duration of the 3-hour event, with second place posting a time of 14.12 seconds. Oval Components finished second in 2002 at the PRI Trade Show.
