TRP
In a Mod (not a Limited), what's a good final drive ration for the Edna track? Thanks all. From the ones I've talked with, 5.80 to 6.00. Need a pretty stout motor for 6.00, and if you have a real horse, you might could go a little above the 6.00 to a 6.20. I don't run the mods myself, but very reliable and trustworthy source gave me the info. I'm providing. thx - Monty

vl racing
In a Mod (not a Limited), what's a good final drive ration for the Edna track? Thanks all. Monty is dead on with the gear ratio, assuming your transmission is 1:1 in high gear. 5.83's are usually good for about 7000 rpms ,and the the 6.20's will run you up around 8000rpms, +/- track conditions for wheel slippage. hope that helps.
