Big G Smith
Because the entry fee was so high for the SWRC race last weekend, we did not collect the usual drivers fee for the points fund. No change in points fund revinue to report this week
Big G Smith
After 13 of 23 races, we have $4174.00 in the points fund. This amount will be reduced by $115.00 to pay for pictures from the SWRC to be used in promotional materials such as the new Banner that Mike has donated (retail value of $1,134.00) and new posters. Being in the advertising and marketing business, I can tell you we would be spending $10,000.00 or more throught the year to be at the level mike has brought us to by his donations. A big thanks to Mike Steinman for all his efforts in making us a professionally Branded series like no other local or regional group.
Big G Smith
After the August 30th race we have $4,776.00 in the points fund. No money will be added for the races in Houston as they are not paying races for us. Plus, because of the expense involved, we are waving the normal $10.00 per driver points fund fee. Big G Smith
The total purse in our 2008 points fund is $5446.00. Unless we find a sponsor for the November 8th final in Houston, this amount will not increase. Because of the expense involved in going to Houston, we will not require the usual donation for that race. You can review the example breakdown earlier in this post. It should be real close to those amounts although it is not official. Smitty
Big G Smith
I have been informed that we still have a Thunder Hill purse comming from the 9-27-08 race. This will be added to our total as soon as it is received. Payouts will be determined after all moneys are collected Smitty
