abrungot
Mini, I worked alot on set up this year... and honestly only bought 8 tires the entire year. I had a few in the back up land from 06 season.. but not many... LF most of the year on that tire LR 7 races on RF 5 races on RR 5 races on Other rules i followed... 1 practice session per race, Only did more if had issues. Would break in tires, and allow them to sit before running them hard. Tried to keep pop rivits and debree out of them... (Luck) Lost 2 to holes Tried to not lean on other cars cutting them. This is what i was getting...

Truck99
Our experience with the 970s is a little different than Aaron's, but not much. We would get 4 races out of the RF and LR and 3 races out of the RR. Like Aaron said, the LF will last a LONG time. I think we bought 10 or 11 tires all year. JasonStanley92
i ran almost the whole season on my uncles thunderstock.... but the last race we had to put right sides on... its all about what the car handles like really.
abrungot
Thunder stocks have an open rearend.. meaning the RR is the "Drive Tire" and the RF is the cornering tire that is why they go fastest... With Supers Many are locked rearends now... So they will work the LR tire harder. As well they have faster corner speeds causing more wear as well... Then there is Cary enough said..
