"ExpressJet 50" Pro Modified Feature Set for Thunderhill Saturday

Kyle - The Pro Modified feature race Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway is now the "ExpressJet 50" after Friday's announcement by Jim Nides, Vice president - Flight Operations and Maintenance ExpressJet Airlines, and Thunderhill Raceway owner Mary Ann Naumann that ExpressJet has signed on as the title sponsor for the race. As part of the sponsorship, ExpressJet will also give away two tickets to an upcoming race at Thunderhill.

ExpressJet flies non-stop from Austin and San Antonio to 11 destinations and features free XM Radio, comfortable leather seats, dollar beer and complimentary snack options.

"We're really happy to have ExpressJet get involved as a sponsor at Thunderhill," Mrs. Naumann said Friday. "Jim Nides is a racer, and knows how important both prize money and exposure are to racers. This sponsorship helps provide a little of each, and will also reward two lucky fans with a free night at the races in return for their continuing support of short track racing."

ExpressJet Airlines has 274 planes in service to over 150 destinations in North America and the Caribbean. The division has 18 maintenance bases across the United States and approximately 60 airport locations.

Gates open at Thunderhill, located on I35 just north of San Marcos, at 4:00 pm on Saturday with races starting at 7:00 pm.
