This was an especially good night of racing! KC Jones and his Cannonball Express put on a phenomenal show going over 256 MPH on his last past of the night! He and his wife are such wonderful people and enjoy performing in San Antonio – they both go out of their way to visit with the thousands of fans wanting pictures and asking questions! We also got to see some great passes with our Blown vs Nitrous cars. Ricky Howell provided tough competition, but Jack Heslink was the star of the show consistently pulling passes of 214 MPH in his 2002 Mike Bos Dragster.

A peek in to the first half of next year: the 2nd Annual Amalie Oil Texas Nationals will be held at San Antonio Raceway March 26, 27 and 28, 2004. I’ve heard some of the plans and it’s going to be bigger and better than the 2003 Nationals! Already have plans for the 4th of July? That’s okay, but BE SURE to be at San Antonio Raceway on June 26th for our celebration! It’s going to knock your socks off!
