Thumper was DQed because he did not redgester.I knew up front my run was just for fun and it was really fun. That track is really a blast to run on,smooth and hard slick making it a drivers track. The fireworks display was really neat and they played Stars Spangled Banner and other National songs during the fireworks. It was really a neat nite overall. If Thumper showed them anything it was to keep hotrods like mine out of the regular program. They run stock engines and have really good racing. The RGS Thunders are a good bunch of racers and I kept from affecting the outcome. It was fun to race through traffic again.Thank you Rio Grande Speedway.

My question to you,Mike and to Nick is why doesnt RGS have a place on Speedzone? There are 2 tracks that are closed on there but no RGS.I think its time to be in the loop.

I have extended the invitation, but so far, anyway, no response from the management at RGS. There is nothing worse than a forum that nobody goes to because the track doesn't support it, so I don't put up a forum for a track unless that track agrees to support it with information, results, stories, etc.

I have been emailing with Nick on the subject, and am trying to get Johnny to call and give the ok. I'll continue to post results and upcoming events. The recaps are hard because I have a terrible view of the races from the infield and I usually forgot most of what happened each night when I go to sleep. I'll get with Johnny and hopefully he'll make the call.
