Sarge
Mother nature could not stop the races, on Cleo Bay Honda night at Texas Thunder Speedway For immediate release Contact Pat Wilson 254-290-6262 pwilson1@hot.rr.com http://www.texasthunder.com By Bill “Sarge” Masom Killeen, Tx It was a suggy night, but fortunantly, it turned out just right, as Cleo Bay Honda sponsored a great night of racing at Texas Thunder Speedway. With over a 1/2 inch of rain falling at 4:00 PM, the night looked to be a wash. But Pat Wilson and the terrific track prep crew were anticipating extra moisture, and with some extra packing, the track was raceable at the normal 8:00 PM start time. 122 cars, agmented by 17 Brazos Mini Sprints, took to the track for some fantastic racing. First feature race to hit the track was the Cottman Transmissions Teen Mini Stocks. Six of th e youngsters took to the track for an excciting ten laps of racing. Colton Monroe was able to get by, and defenend the top spot from Travis Zwiefelhofer, who wanted the spot back. Joseph Charnock would catch the leading duo, but had problems and dropped back to let Brittney Rasmussen through for third.
