TPS at Thunder Hill Raceway on June 23

 

The Texas Pro Sedans will hold the fourth 2007 event in their 32nd consecutive racing season at Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, Texas on Saturday night June 23. The event will be the third of seven TPS series races hosted by Thunder Hill Raceway during the 2007 racing season.

 

The Texas Pro Sedans racing format will consist of 2, 8 lap Qualifying Heat Races and a 20 Lap Feature Race. The TPS Heat Races will invert half of each grid by points. The two leading point holders will therefore start at mid-pack. Point leader #20 Sergio Hexsel will race in Heat #1. Points 2nd place #85 Ja Lane will be in Heat #2. The Qualifying Heat Races will determine the grid for the Texas Pro Sedan series Feature Race.

 

A field of 28 drivers had filed entry for the race. Most of the drivers on the race entry list have indicated their plans to sign in at THR on June 23.

 

The event will see the return of TPS sponsor and former TPS driver, Steve Foster, owner of Buggy Warehouse in San Antonio. Buggy Warehouse will sponsor the June 23rd event.
