NeilTPS
Attention Mod 4 Drivers at Wichita Speedway .... I read the post about your new every other Friday schedule. It said: "We are now racing the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month....."We will Race on the 15th of June then we will be off for two weeks until the 1st Friday of July". The Texas Pro Sedans schedule fits well into most of your off nights. We will be racing at Thunder Hill Raceway down Interstate 35 near Kyle, Texas on the following non-conflictive Saturdays: June 23 (WS has no race the night before) July 14 (WS has no race the night before) July 28 (WS has no race the night before) August 18 (the night after your Aug 17th race) September 29 (WS has no race the night before) Since your Mod 4 class has several off nights, you are invited to race with the Texas Pro Sedans. Please visit www.TexasProSedans.com for full and up-to-date future TPS race information or call me. NeilTPS
Mini9r: The invitation will depend upon the degree of modification. We will deal with that on an individual car basis. NeilTPS
Tires: The question of tires has been considered. TPS rules state - "TPS reserves option to authorize certain DOT rated street tires and other Hoosier tires for specific cars or events". To economically best assist Wichita Speedway (WS)drivers with this invitation to race and considering that Mod 4 cars at WS use three 8" x 13" racing tires, following would be the tire allowances: Hoosier TUSA F 60 8.0/23.0 x 13” - or - Hoosier F60 8.0/23.0 x 13” racing slicks are the TPS required tire. This tire is used by some cars at WS. Therefore these Hoosiers are obviously allowed. Goodyear 8" x 13" tires are understood to have the same compound as Hoosiers. Therefore Goodyears allowed on at least a one race basis. American Racer 8" x 13" are understood to be of a slightly harder compound than Hoosier and Goodyear. Therefore American Racer allowed on at least a one race basis. Assignment of weight regulations by WS invited cars would be determined on an individual car basis upon filing of a TPS entry form.
