NickHolt
John Heil started on the pole with Mark Chrudimsky on the outside pole. Heil jumped out to the early lead but pulled into the pits after a few laps with a broken rocker arm. Chrudimsky then inherited the lead and did not give it up in spite of constant pressure from Jason Boyd. Boyd repeatedly used the chrome horn and finally took Chrudimsky out on lap 25 coming off turn two after a furled flag warning from THR flag man Randy Hubbard. Boyd was sent to the rear for the contact while Chrudimsky retained the point. The finish saw Chrudimsky take the checkered with Tuffy Hudson, Ralph Burris, Jr., Trey Mitchell and Boyd or Bob Slezinsky (depending on who you talk to) rounding out the top five. 11 Modifieds started the 40-lap feature at THR.
