TSRS, Super Stock races on K-MAC Sports this Saturday

TSRS, Super Stock races to be broadcast on K-MAC Sports this Saturday

 

Leander, TX – Race fans across the country can tune in to some of the exciting action this Saturday at Thunder Hill Raceway (Kyle, TX) as THR holds its opening night for 2007.

 

K-MAC Sports Productions of Austin will do a live pay-per-listen broadcast of both of the feature races for the Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) Late Models and A-Line Auto Parts Super Stocks. The broadcasts are Austin Mobile Marine and “powered” by Gen-Tech RV Generators (www.gentech1.com).

 

The broadcasts are available at the K-MAC Sports Web site, www.kmacsports.com, and are available to anyone who has a computer and Internet access.

 

The broadcast is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. Central time on the site. The K-MAC Sports crew will include Chuck Licata (play-by-play), “Ricky” Bobby Chaffee (color), Kevin McAdams (executive producer) and Devota Swenson (spotter/statistician).

 

“We found out last year there’s quite a few relatives of TSRS drivers and teams who tuned in to the broadcasts,” said Licata, who owns K-MAC Sports with McAdams. “We were asked by Thunder Hill Raceway officials to do either a delayed or pay-per-listen broadcast instead of a live broadcast this year.

 

“Fred Summers of Gen-Tech, Chuck and Kevin at K-MAC Sports and Tommy (Gural) and I got together and wanted to help the series out by raising money for the TSRS drivers’ points fund,” said Teresa Gural, who owns Austin Mobile Marine with her husband Tommy. “Thus, we concluded we should do a pay-per-listen and donate part of the proceeds from each race broadcast to the season-ending fund. It’s our combined goal to do what we can for all of racing and we figured this was a good start.”
