Detailed THR Weekend Schedule (Subject to change, if necessary)

Friday, April 27th

 

Noon - Garage/Pit Area Opens - two-day wrist bands are available - allows for overnight access to Garage/Pit Area, as well as early entry on Saturday (without them, not available until 10:00 am on Saturday)

Noon - THR/TSRS Tech Opens (everyone is encouraged to take advantage of going through Safety Inspection on Friday, all cars are required to go through safety inspection prior to entering the racetrack!)

2:00 until dark - Track Open for "Testing & Tuning" Note: No haulers can be parked between 9:00pm on Friday and 9:00am on Saturday (with a two day wrist band) or 10:00am without, Drivers can be penalized, if not followed.

 

Saturday, April 28th

10:00am - Garage/Pit Area Ticket Window Opens

10:00 - THR/TSRS Tech Opens (all cars are required to go through safety inspection prior to entering the racetrack!)

1:oo – 4:30 Organized "Testing & Tuning"

4:00 - Grandstands Open

4:00 - THR Drivers/Crew Chiefs Meeting (mandatory- in Drivers/Media Lounge) 4:20 - Track closed for Cleanup

5:00 - Qualifying: (green, white, checkered) Lone Star Legacies

Qualifying Heats:

Texas Pro Sedans 2 Heat Races (8 laps)

Hobby Stocks - Qualifying Heat Races (8 laps) by order of drawing (finishing order is starting position for Main Event)

Road Runners - Qualifying Heat Races (8 laps) by order of drawing (finishing order is starting position for Main Event)

Grand Stocks - Qualifying Heat Races (8 laps) by order of drawing (finishing order is starting position for Main Event)

7:00 - Opening Ceremony (Parade of Aid lap, all emergency vehicles w/lights on, followed by THR A-Line Super Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Road Runners & Grand Stocks on track for Opening Ceremony & Voting of "07 Best Appearing Car" - voting ballets given out at grandstand entrance & turned in at JRA kids club booth. All cars leave the track and the NASKARTS enter for their Main Event.

Insurance regulations stipulate that only licensed drivers allowed to operate convenience vehicles in the PITS. ($35.00 season registration fee must have THR sticker on it at all times) NO bicycles, scooters, skateboards or roller-skates.
