Snowball:

I am just curious how many qualify for the race off time and do they have a consolation race for those who do not make it kinda like the ASA race? or how many do you'll start? just curious - with this long list of drivers obviously not everyone will make the show?

38 cars start the race. If you'll notice, it says expected drivers. On the list of 41 "should be there" drivers, I would expect a few no shows for various reasons. Last year for the opener we had 38 cars with 36 starting the race.2 of them had issues in qualifying. I had a list of 40 "should be there" drivers for that one. I list any driver who says he "might make it" as a maybe. Usually very few of these actually show up. I expect a minimum of 35 and a very real chance of 40-42.So far on the Blizzards we haven't had to send anyone home without racing. This time could be the first! When the Snowball rolls around, those drivers are actual paid entries. 99% of them usually show up. Usually the Snowball has between 65 and 75 entries.

Snowball,

Met a fellar today from Canada. I think he said he was associated with McQuarters Racing. He'd be with a SLM. Ring a bell? He was online in Canada and heard about SAS closing. I wonder if that the the 1st thing he's heard about SAS?

Had a blast in 05' by the way.

I think it was. Hard to understand his broken English  . I asked him to keep his dimes out of our coke machines. Nice fellar. Really nice rig.
