Track owner and promoter, Pat Wilson, said that there was just to much rain this week to get the track in shape for racing. "It is impossible to get the track ready", he said. "The Texas Dwarf Car race will be rescheduled" Join us next week as Allstate Insurance - Kimberly Bridenstine Agency presents the races at Texas's best 1/4 dirt track. Kids, bring your easter baskets for the Ace Hardware Easter Egg Scramble. During intermission, the kids will be allowed on the track to gather as many eggs as they can. Eggs will be filled with candy, money and prizes! Promoter Pat Wilson would like to remind everyone that mufflers are required on all cars in all classes. The I. M. C. A. classes must have the I. M. C. A. approved mufflers. No muffler means an automatic disqualification. There is no grace period in effect for mufflers. No muffler, no money or points. Gates open at 6:00 PM and racing starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $10 for Adults, $3 for kids 6-12 and kids under 6 are free. Season passes are available as well. Fans now have the ability to purchase their tickets online with a credit card. Just go to the Texas Thunder Speedway web site, and click on the “Buy and Print Tickets” button. Your credit card can be used to buy yur tickets at the ticket booth as well. Also you can use your Visa or Master Card in the tracks souvenir and concession stands.
