Guest THRRD Posted March 27, 2007 Report Share Posted March 27, 2007 We received notice this afternoon that Fox Gibson (who was a flagman for SAS and ROMCO and Fire Chief of Gardendale VFD) was a match for a kidney donor. He went into surgery approximately 6:00 p.m. Surgery is expected to take about 3 hours. Linda and I are keeping him in our prayers and hope you will too. Just to bring everyone up to date, he is now out of surgery, everything went well. Our prayers are still going strong... Thank You Everyone!!!! A darn good flagman...(even when he dropped the flag out of the flagstand and nearly hit my car!) He also saved my behind when I tried to burn down Gardendale! LOL! Get well Fox, we're pullin for ya!
