Texan James Buescher Debuts at Lakeland with CJR

Lakeville, MN (3-20-07) - Country Joe Racing (CJR) announced today that James Buescher will pilot the #32 Dodge entry at the ARCA RE/MAX Series Construct Corps-Palm Beach Grading 250 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, FL on March 24th. The 16-year-old Texas native will attempt his first career RE/MAX series start at the .75 mile short-track.

Along with the 2006 ASA Late Model Series Southern Championship and Rookie of the Year titles, Buescher has an extensive resume including numerous Bandolero and Legends car victories. His eighth place finish in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup race earlier this month at Lakeland has added valuable experience and has given a boost of confidence going into the RE/MAX Series event.

"I am excited to be a part of the Country Joe Race team," Buescher said. "We have had two very productive tests at Lakeland and I look forward to a solid finish."

Kevin Cywinski, VP of Competition for CJR, is a three-time ASA national champion.

"James has demonstrated great maturity for a young driver, commented Cywinski. "His willingness to learn accompanied by his constant car control has certainly sped up his learning curve. "We are anticipating an exciting run at Lakeland."

Country Joe Racing is not unaccustomed to success. The Minnesota-based, ARCA RE/MAX Series team has claimed Rookie of the Year honors in both 2006 and 2005. In 2006, along with a number of top-five and top-ten finishes, the team earned a win at Salem Speedway, pole positions at Berlin Raceway and The Milwaukee Mile, and the coveted Bill France Triple Crown Award.

CJR would also like to welcome Mercedes Homes as the primary sponsor for the #32 Dodge.

The first practice session for the Construct Corps-Palm Beach Grading 250 at USA Int'l Speedway is Friday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The second practice session is scheduled for Saturday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m followed by Pole Award Qualifying at 4:30 pm. The race is scheduled to roll off under the lights Saturday night, March 24th at 7:30 pm.
