On March 8th 9th & 10th just north of Van Buren Arkansas, Crawford County Speedway owners Donnie, Peggy, Eddie & Sue Watson, kick off a weekend full of, fast action mud slinging, side by side action. Saturday Night only, the Day Motor Sport AMP State Series presented by American Racer make their first laps a new memory as they set out to race on the 3/8th red clay, speed plant. March 8th - Thursday Drivers will get a chance to check out their cars; Beginning at 6:00 p.m. With practice, testing and tuning. March 9th – Friday Qualifying races will be held for the Mini Stock, Modified, Super Stock, Young Guns, Front Wheel Drive, Factory Stock and Pure Stock on Friday night. Prize money is: Modified $1000 Super Stock $500 TEMS/Economy Modified and Factory Stock $500 Front Wheel Drive $300 Mini Stock and Pure Stock $200 Young Guns division $100 All Qualifying heats will be run on Friday night with last chance qualifying on Saturday night and all Feature races. Drivers will draw for Qualifying. March 10th - Saturday The Day Motorsport AMP State Series presented by American Racer Series will hit the track along with the TEMS Modified Series that will highlight the evening. The Day Motor Sports AMP State Series presented by American Racer (Arkansas Motorsport Professionals) join the evening with the TEMS (Touring Economy Modified Series). AMP Series has had phenomenal growth since the series first started forming in Arkansas the end of October of 2006. Series office has been receiving calls about the new AMP Series from many racers all over Arkansas, and from 8 states, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee. The new series has attracted National media attention and has landed many headlines in net sports media across the country. Day Motor Sports AMP State Series will be racing for $1500.00 to win with $200.00 to start the Main Feature event. All late model racers are welcome to join in with AMP State Series for this event. Please view rules at ampseries.com. The purse for the event will be paid by: Crawford County Speedway. The total purse for the event will be $8650.00; with the winner taking home $1,500.00. Non-qualifiers will receive $37.50. Entry fee for AMP members is only $75.00, non-members entry fee will be $120.00.
